Application Enrollment is open to anyone over the age of 18, though the majority of our volunteers are college or graduate students or recent graduates. There are no prerequisites; Spanish is not required. Space is limited to 15 volunteers per program.

Applications will be due on March 4th, 2017. If the program is not full at this point, we will continue to accept applications. Please email applications to Emma Freedman and copy Dr. Brian Billman.  

Costs

$1,800* covers all lodging, 3 meals a day, 6 days a week, orientation and educational workshops, guided tours, supplies for development projects, transportation, the trip to Cajamarca and all site and museum entrance fees.

This cost may vary if you are part of a student group that provides fundraising for the project.

Required Forms

All students should fill out the  release form and our emergency medical history form and submit them to Emma Freeman and copy Alicia Boswell when submitting the application.  

Payment of Deposit and Fees

There is a $250 deposit required this program.  This deposit is due at time of application and will be fully refunded if the program is cancelled or if the student is not accepted.  The deposit will be put toward the cost of the program and is not an additional fee.
